The Updated Showcase Experience Has Arrived

Since launching, Zillow Showcase has become an innovative and powerful tool for agents and teams to create eye-catching listings, enhance their brand and grow their business. Showcase listings are currently driving 81% more page views, 80% more saves and 90% more shares than nearby similar non-Showcase listings on Zillow*. And agents using Showcase on the majority (more than half) of their listings on Zillow are winning 30% more listings than similar non-Showcase agents**.

But we know there’s always room for improvement. Our Showcase team has been hard at work implementing feedback from our customers to make the tool even more useful. We’re excited to share the updates launching to Zillow Showcase.

More Access To Listing Performance Data

Our customers asked, and we listened! Insights into Showcase performance has been one of the most-requested features, and we’re thrilled that agents creating Showcase listings will have access to this data - including the page views, saves, shares, email counts and more.

The feature will also include comparisons to similar non-Showcase listings and downloadable reports to make it easy to share the data and provide that invaluable transparency your sellers want.

As soon as the updated experience launches in a market, agents will begin seeing this data populate in the Performance tab on their Showcase account.

Streamlined Media Ordering and Photographer Access

This one is all about giving you more choices with ease and convenience when it comes time to get media for your Showcase listing.

Not only have we analyzed the experience of submitting an order for photos, tours and more to ensure it’s smooth (with as few clicks as possible), but we’ve heard the requests for increased visibility into options for photographers.

With the updated Showcase experience, there is now easy access to your preferred photographers, or convenient ordering from a marketplace of local Showcase-approved photographers that are able to capture the media you need.

Refreshed User Experience, Tool Integration and Unified Login

You’ll notice that this refreshed Showcase experience will look slightly different than the version you’re accustomed to, with a few changes intended to ease navigation and access to additional software tools.

The updated experience includes links with some of our other market-leading products, including dotloop and ShowingTime. This means more details about showings and transactions are available with a single click.

This also means Showcase users will now only need one login for multiple tools, including Listing Media Services, dotloop and Showcase. Less time spent logging in to multiple products so you can spend more time building your business.

*Showcase listings on Zillow include an interactive floor plan, a virtual tour, and specialized exposure on Zillow (the “Showcase Treatment”). This claim is based on Zillow data analyzed in Showcase markets with at least one For Sale By Agent listing during the initial fourteen day period a listing in these markets with the Showcase Treatment was active on Zillow, up to pending (the “Showcase Listings”) and is limited to listings using the Showcase Treatment on the date the listing went live in the applicable MLS, up to pending. The Showcase Listings were compared to For Sale By Agent listings on Zillow: (i) without the Showcase Treatment; (ii) of the same home type; (iii) located in the same city and within two miles of the Showcase Listings; (iv) on the market during the same time period as the Showcase Listings or the immediately prior month; (v) containing a similar list price as the Showcase Listings; (vi) having similar square footage as the Showcase Listings; and (vii) having a similar bedroom count. *The data is from November 20, 2024 and is an average from the immediately preceding six month period. The data excludes the top 5% and bottom 5% lift of total page views, saves, and shares from each month and the immediately preceding six month average.

** This claim is based on Zillow data analyzed about agents with a Zillow Showcase subscription at least than fifty percent of all their listings on Zillow during the “Showcase Period”, as defined below. These agents were compared to all Zillow agent profiles for not subscribed to Zillow Showcase (“Non-Showcase Agents”) and matched during the "Matching Period", as defined below, based on the following attribute: (i) same team role; (ii) operate within the same market area; (iii) have similar average listing prices; (iv) similar listing count prior to Showcase Agents subscribing to Zillow Showcase; and (vi) similar listing trends prior to Showcase Agents subscribing to Zillow Showcase. These agents were also compared to "Less Frequent Showcase Agents", meaning agents with a Zillow Showcase subscription with less than fifty percent of all their listings on Zillow during the “Showcase Period”. The Matching Period consists of the year prior to an agent subscribing to Zillow Showcase. The Showcase Period consists of the sixty day period after an agent subscribes to Zillow Showcase. During the Showcase Period, agents with more than fifty percent of their listings on Zillow were then compared to both (i) Non-Showcase agent listings during the Matching Period, and (ii) Less Frequent Showcase Agents, at the time the listings went live in the MLS. *The data is from November 20th, 2024, and includes analysis on all Showcase agent subscribers that have been subscribers for sixty days. The data excludes all Showcase agents and Non-Showcase agents with significant change in market share.
