The information you need within just a few clicks

The next generation of ShowingTime offers more ways to interact with your calendar to schedule new appointments, confirm or decline requests, and more.

Options include a monthly calendar view, zooming into the next three days, or highlighting just one day. You also have the ability to see your listings or appointments for that day with the agenda view.

The updated calendar also allows you to filter appointments based on status or buyer. You can also view your appointments in a map view directly through the calendar.

Set your default ShowingTime experience to the next generation platform

Update Your Default Experience
to the next generation of ShowingTime!

You now have the option to set the next generation platform as your default ShowingTime experience. This means every time you log into ShowingTime, you’ll be seamlessly and automatically directed to the updated version. Just follow these steps:
  1. Log into ShowingTime or use the links in your MLS to access your ShowingTime account. Then, toggle into the next generation experience by clicking the “The new version of ShowingTime is here. Try it now.” banner at the top of your screen. Review the Quick Start Guide to learn more.
  2. Click the drop down next to your name in the top right corner of the page and select "Preferences".
  3. Click the "Default Settings” tab and toggle "Default to the next generation experience" to “On”.

Even if the feature isn’t yet available in your MLS, you can still access the latest version of ShowingTime. Just log in with your existing ShowingTime credentials or create a new username and password.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do my members have to use the next generation of ShowingTime?

No. This is a soft launch, and they will not be forced into using an unfamiliar experience. Eventually, this new user experience will replace the current one, but by then we’re confident our valued customers will be comfortable and happy with the new, enhanced ShowingTime.

How do my members access the next generation of ShowingTime?

Your members should follow these steps:

  1.  Log into ShowingTime
  2. Click on the banner at the top of the screen.
  3. You will be redirected to a new page to log into the next-generation experience. If you already have login credentials, you will be prompted to update your password. If you typically access ShowingTime through your MLS and don't have login credentials, you will be prompted to create a username and password.
If our members currently use single sign on (SSO) to access ShowingTime, will they still be able to?

Yes! SSO will not be going away; however, all users will need to create a username and password the first time they access the next generation experience. The Quick Start Guide and webinar are great resources to help guide agents through this process. Data security is our top priority and using login credentials is a standard norm across most products. As long as they are accessing the next generation experience at least once every 30 days, they will always be automatically authenticated into the system and will not have to enter login credentials each time.

How do my members select the next generation of ShowingTime as their default experience?

Agents and other users can set their default experience to the next generation of ShowingTime by following the below steps:

  1. Login to ShowingTime and toggle into the next generation experience by clicking the “Start using the next generation experience >” banner at the top of your screen.
  2. Click the drop down next to your name in the top right corner of the page and select "Preferences".
  3. Click the "Default Settings” tab and toggle "Default to the next generation experience" to “On”.

When the toggle is on, users will be directed to the next generation experience by default when accessing ShowingTime from their MLS, through email links, or when logging in directly from https://www.showingtime.com/login/.

My MLS doesn’t have SSO enabled, who can I contact to get it set up?

If you’re interested in getting this setup in your MLS, reach out to alertsupport@showingtime.com. 

Does the SSO launch for the next generation of ShowingTime impact how users authenticate into the current version of ShowingTime?

No, there will be no changes to how users will log into the current version of ShowingTime. Users can authenticate into the current version of ShowingTime via MLS links, using their ShowingTime credentials or through any other URL links. This update is new functionality specifically built for the next generation of ShowingTime. 

Our MLS does not use SSO. Can our members access the next generation of ShowingTime without it?

Yes! Agents whose MLSs do not offer SSO functionality or those that prefer or need to use ShowingTime credentials will still be able to use their ShowingTime credentials to access the next generation of ShowingTime. The Quick Start Guide and webinar are great resources to help guide agents through this process. As long as they are accessing the next generation experience at least once every 30 days, they will always be automatically authenticated into the system and will not have to enter login credentials each time.

If I set my default to the next generation of ShowingTIme, can I switch back to the current version?

Absolutely! To switch back to the current version, follow the same steps: 

  1. Click the drop down next to your name in the top right corner of the page and select "Preferences".
  2. Click the "Default Settings” tab and toggle "Default to the next generation experience" to “Off”.
  3. Click “Save Changes”.
